About Me

• No party political allegiance.

• Independent and broad minded.

• 3rd year student studying medicine, with arts background.

• When I came to university I was not very passionate about and I didn’t realise the significance of climate change, Fairtrade and other global challenges. I have changed in the last 2 and a half years from being apathetic to understanding their great importance, and my personal responsibility in tackling these issues.

• Studying at the Royal Infirmary and Western General will allow me to gauge 3rd, 4th and 5th year medical students’ opinions and represent them on the SRC.

• Other interests – reading, long distance running, opera, and Middle Eastern culture and politics.
